1. Our Estimation Process
We apply the “estimation” process in the following two steps.
1st Estimate
Very rough estimation based on provided information. If you are okay with these figures, we can agree that your needs and assumed budget scale does not see a huge gap. Please keep in mind that this figure can largely vary, however.
2nd Estimate
If you are okay with the 1st estimation, and you also agree with the down payment condition, we can go further and can give you a bit more detailed estimate. Please keep in mind, because it is assumed that provided information is still incomplete (always), calculated total is not necessarily fixed.
Where your company's policies are in conflict with these policies, we are open to discuss a middle ground option or alternative. Send us an email with your concerns to start this discussion.
2. Payment Terms and Project Confirmation
A down payment is required to formally proceed with any project. It comprises the following:
1. 50% of Service fee
2. 100% of Expenses – This includes, where applicable, various payments to outsources/non-MoJoe Media parties like location permits, transportation and travel, equipment rental, talents, crew, etc., based on estimation of expenses.
Our goal is to ensure the complete success of your production; therefore, your timely deposit puts us in the optimal position for this to be achieved. This down payment therefore works as deposit. Without payment, MoJoe Media cannot confirm or ensure any aspect of the production including dates, crew, equipment, or other services.
After client approves the estimates, MoJoe Media will submit an invoice to client for the down payment to be paid, any contract agreement/deal memo signing may be done at this point. Thereafter, client should be ready to facilitate payment immediately and within 72 hours.
3. Final Payment
This payment is the outstanding balance remaining after production. For international clients it is paid upon completion of the production or within 48 hours thereafter and prior to departing from Belize or unless otherwise agreed upon prior in writing by both parties.
Local clients are given 15 business days after completion of production to make final payment.
4. Project which starts within 5 business days from the confirmation
Projects which require additional crews and services from outsources/non-MoJoe Media parties like production service arrangement; we set special conditions to accept these projects.
1. A 75% advance payment based on estimation is required.
To ensure that we can provide you with the best quality service, we reserve the right to reject projects which we consider to be "last-minute" like tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
5. Cancellation Fee
If projects are cancelled within 7 days before it begins, the deposit above works as a deposit towards the cancellation fee. Client will be charged 50% of the day rate (expenses, equipment and fees) for any day cancelled. An invoice highlighting same will be submitted to client for payment.
6. Payment through wire transfer
We accept wire transfer payments. These payments, once made will arrive in our bank account 3 to 5 days after deposit.
7. Working Hours
A normal workday for us constitutes the following:
1 Day is equivalent to 10 hrs. Additional hours over this time, when directly attributable to the Client, may be liable to additional charges. This will be discussed with you and agreed prior to proceeding.
The day includes:
A one-hour break at the 6-hour point of the day’s production
Two - 30 minutes breaks, the first at the 3-hour point of the first 6 hours and the second at the 3-hour point of the second 6 hours.
